Gossip Girl

In this semester we had to read four books. From this four the one that i liked the most was Gossip Girl by Cecily von Ziegesar. I really liked this book, the author describes the feelings of the characters in a way that lets the reader feel them.

This story is about Blair Waldrof, she has become the most popular and prettiest girl in High School because Serena van der Woodsen, the girl who used to be her best friend left to a boarding school. After one year, Serena comes back and things start to change. People start paying attention to Serena and ignoring Blair, even her boyfriend Nate. Blair starts ignoring Serena and she starts to say bad things about her. Nate confesses Blair that he slept once with Serena while they were together so their relationship ended. After some time Nate apologizes to Blair, and she accepts with the condition that he will never talk to Serena. Nate was Serena’s best friend and the only person who have talked to her since she had come back, but he wants to be with Blair so he starts getting away from Serena.
Serena starts worrying about her grades, and the only way to het them higher is by doing something remarkable, so she decides to film a movie and for this she will need some help. Everybody resigns to help her, except for Jenny, the girl who most admires Serena, and she gives her an invitation to a party who Blair had organize but hadn’t invite her. The day of the party Serena felt really bad, because her “best friend”, didn’t like her anymore so she decides to call Vanessa and ask if she could go out with her. Vanessa agrees and together they go to a concert where they found Daniel, Jenny’s brother who felt in love with her.
